Nord Stream-2 Gas Pipeline will be bad for Germany and North Atlantic Treaty Organisation

Nord Stream-2 Gas Pipeline will be bad for Germany and North Atlantic Treaty Organisation

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said Trump's remarks showed the United States was eyeing to scuttle Russia's gas supplies to Europe to push its own energy sector, the report said.

"And you tell me that is appropriate, because I think it's not and I think it's a very bad thing for North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and I don't think it should have happened".

Russian Federation accuses the United States of bullying Europe into buying American liquid natural gas.

European countries may block construction of the pipeline "Nord stream-2", if you take the radical position of the United States.

Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, countered Thursday, saying "natural gas pipelines lead not to a dependence of one country from another, but to mutual interdependence". And the former Chancellor of Germany is the head of the pipeline company that's supplying the gas.

He asked, while Stoltenberg listened "Germany will have nearly 70 percent of their country controlled by Russian Federation with natural gas".

But Trump's harsh criticism of Germany echoes statements from US officials from past administrations, including Kerry himself, according to recently resurfaced videos, the Washington Free Beacon reported.

History has shown that Russian Federation has a penchant for attempting to control Europe by cutting off energy supplies.

"The United States does not support pipelines such as Nord Stream 2 and a multi-line Turk Stream that will only increase reliance on a single source of supply", Perry told reporters.

"We're protecting Germany, we're protecting France, we're protecting all these countries (via Nato)".

"A "and the stream-2" is a tool in the hands of the Kremlin of waging a hybrid war".

"As has been proven in the past, a trilateral process is the most effective platform to seek a satisfactory solution to the gas matters important for involved parties and to gas transit via Ukraine beyond 2019", Šefčovič said.
