Moto Z3 Play gets Android 9.0 P Closed Beta

But, if recent reports are to be believed, Motorola will be unveiling two Google affiliated Android One series phones - Moto One and Moto One Power. We will keep you posted on the latest updates and news about the forthcoming launch. But it is unclear if it is just compact or a toned down version.

Earlier this month, Motorola launched the Moto Z3 Play smartphone in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants in Brazil. It will still have an iPhone X-inspired notch on top of its display and a bottom bezel with the Motorola branding. It is said to be smaller than the One Power but we aren't sure if it will have a smaller or more compact screen.

As seen on the Moto Z3 Play, the Moto Z3 might also come with glass back body.

Lenovo is going back to Motorola branding and it's doing so with the help of the Motorola One Power. Regarding other features, the new Moto device gets a P2i water-repellent coating and a fingerprint sensor, which is located at the rear below the camera.

On the rear, the device will most probably feature dual camera setup. Also, there is a dual SIM support for you to use two networks at the same time. As it could be the case the camera spec configuration is totally different on the Motorola One. The renders also reveal that we can expect the Android One smartphone from Motorola to arrive in Black and White colors.

Excited for something "big" from Moto? Powering the smartphone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage space expandable up to 128GB. On August 2, we're making a big announcement at Motorola's headquarters in Chicago.

Given that the company is speculated to bring two Android One smartphones, it looks like Motorola is betting high on the Android One category.

Motorola's likely running under the assumption that most of the world doesn't frequent tech news blogs here in 2018, so it's pretty likely the event will indeed contain the Moto One.
