Crew member alleges Johnny Depp punched him on LA film set

A film crew member says in a lawsuit that Johnny Depp twice punched him on the Los Angeles set of a movie about the killing of the Notorious B.I.G., and that he was sacked from the production when he refused to promise not to sue over the incident.

Furman allegedly replied: "Why don't you tell that to Johnny Depp?".

Rocky, who says he was fearful of the actor, claims that Johnny attacked him and punched him in the ribcage twice.

The 53-year-old allegedly freaked out after Gregg "Rocky" Brooks told him he had to wrap a scene because the permit was running out on the LA street that had been closed for filming.

Brooks said he didn't do anything, and then eventually, the bodyguards and security workers had to remove Depp from the set.

Brooks claims that after Depp allegedly assaulted him, the actor yelled, "I will give you one hundred thousand dollars to punch me in the face right now!"

In the lawsuit, Brooks, who had been hired as a location manager for the film about a Los Angeles police officer, played by Depp, investigating the death of Biggie Smalls, claims that the incident occurred on April 13, 2017 after he informed producers they had one more shot to finish a scene. "You have no right to tell me what to do".

After telling this to Depp, Rocky became concerned about how he'd react so he went to get an LAPD officer for protection.

Johnny's alleged verbal assault continued until his bodyguards took him away, Rocky says.

Brooks also claims that he was sacked from the film after he refused to sign a waiver relinquishing his right to sue.

Rocky, who claims Johnny smelled of alcohol, is seeking unspecified damages.

TMZ said its attempts for a comment from Depp's representatives were unsuccessful.

Depp has not yet responded to the lawsuit. City of Lies is expected to hit theaters September 7.
