Trump claims he has 'largely solved' N Korea problem

US President Donald Trump said after his historic summit in Singapore with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Tuesday he would stop "expensive, provocative" war games with the South.

"President Trump has been incredibly clear about the sequencing of denuclearisation and relief from the sanctions", Mr Pompeo said after meeting South Korea's president and Japan's foreign minister in Seoul.

Seoul's Defense Ministry said the military talks will focus on carrying out agreements from a summit between Kim and South Korean President Moon Jae-in where they vowed to take materialized steps to reduce military tensions and eliminate the danger of war.

Mr Lee said he believed that this time, Mr Kim and his country would be "very sincere" in implementing their agreement.

The agreement between the U.S. and North Korean regime has been slammed over its lack of action and suggests the issue is down to the two power nations having different interpretations of what the meaning of denuclearisation is.

A great compilation, a truly great compilation, people are saying it's the best compilation - you know the drill.

Several former members of the United States military have pointed out that the North Korean was showing respect for the USA president by offering the salute first, and that there was nothing wrong with Trump returning the gesture.

Trump told Fox News anchor Steve Doocy that Kim is "the head of a country, and I mean he's the strong head, don't let anyone think anything different".

"There is a great deal of difference in North Korea before the Singapore summit and after the summit", the official said.

However, newly released video from North Korean state media is raising eyebrows - not least because it shows the US President saluting a military general from a hostile regime.

Human Rights Watch past year called North Korea "one of the most repressive authoritarian states in the world". As Trump watched, according to The Post's report, he remarked about her praise of Kim and suggested she could work for Fox News.

'One broadcast said: "He gave up so much,"' Trump vented. The most fundamental difference appears to relate to the basic premise of the deal: Does North Korea give up nuclear weapons first, in exchange for a better relationship? "I think it is something that could happen".

The documentary is nearly explicitly through Kim's perspective as it follows his journey to Singapore-Trump doesn't appear until halfway through the documentary.
