EA Reveal New Details About Anthem And A New Trailer

EA's E3 2018 presentation will take place on June 9 at 2:00 p.m. ET / 11:00 a.m. PT. This is obviously a very new and different path for BioWare games, as they're typically associated with romance - games like Mass Effect and Dragon Age had players swooning all over, but it looks like Anthem won't feature that at all.

While it is not impossible to play alone, solo has been described as potentially more hard without the full four person team.

Probably our favourite from EA Play, Sea of Solitude is about a girl who gets turned into a monster and must find a cure.

On top off this came the news that the game will include no loot boxes, no premium pass and all content updates will be free for everyone. During the press conference, DICE confirmed that Battlefield V will at some point receive its own "battle royale" mode, though specifics about how it might emulate the likes of PUBG and Fortnite or when we might expect the mode to land within the BFV client were not yet confirmed. They also showed off some new gameplay quirks but not much else.

Now that we've had a closer look at Anthem, Electronic Arts has unveiled the game's preorder bonuses and special edition. As humanity is fractured, it struggles to live on in harsh, unforgiving environments that they can navigate only with exosuits called Javelins. All player characters appear to be huddled together in a hub named Fort Tarsus, protecting themselves from the hostility of a world in constant flux. This has led to a tumultuous world with violent storms and colossal mutated creatures for the player to survive. Players will be able to customize and personalize their suits with unique paint jobs and gear so they'll have the right tools to confront nearly any situation, and look good doing it. The javelins will have customizable gear, which will affect the gameplay, and some visual options to add as well. Let us know your predictions in the comments. The release date of the PlayStation 4, XBox One and PC title is potentially February 19, 2019.
