E3 2018: Sony Reveal New Footage For Spider-Man

The demo ended with a climactic duel against a former ally, and solidified Ghost of Tsushima as an exclusive to watch for anyone who owns a PS4.

- From Software, the makers of "Dark Souls", surprised everyone at Sony's E3 press conference with. a virtual reality game, specifically for PlayStation VR, called "Déraciné".

Although the wait is nearly over, we now have a new trailer that is sure to blow everyone's minds.

The trailer showed off a demo from the ninth day of the Mongol Invasion of Japan, and kicked off with the protagonist Jin wandering the gorgeous Japanese countryside.

The total number of named villains to appear in the trailer is five.

The combat was slow, deliberate and violent, with the katana scything through body parts left, right and centre.

The new trailer pointed towards the inclusion of the Sinister Six, a team of Spider-Man's most formidable foes. He also has a suit power that can incapacitate a large radius of enemies, should the player get overwhelmed.

From what we have seen in the trailer, there is a lot more on offer here than there was 12 months ago.

"Suddenly you knew who the heroes were, who the villains were, what the stakes were for the world, and you had a video game".

The footage above showcases the kind of samurai experience that we've been wanting from a video game for a long time.

After yet another ill-advised musical performance - this time by a white guy in a straw hat playing a shakuhachi - we got to see gameplay from Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima, and boy does it look fantastic.

A full on release is to be confirmed by the studio, but it is safe to say that fans can not wait to get their hands on their shiny new katana in Ghosts of Tsushima.
