E3 2018: Check Out Battlefield V Multiplayer in New Trailer

Sadly, no details regarding this mode were revealed today, other than the developer saying that it will be true to the Battlefield formula. The EA Play Live Press Conference 2018 kicked things off with Battlefield V with a brand new trailer that shows gameplay in action. Battlefield V will allow gamers to shape the sandbox of war.

At the conference, EA indicated that Battlefield V will be the "deepest" and "most immersive" game in the franchise. It is planned to be their biggest and most immersive Battlefield game yet.

Under the cover of the EA Play presentation, NVIDIA released a new video showing gameplay footage of the Grand Operations multiplayer mode. As everyone probably predicted, yes, it will be getting a battle royale mode as well. Players will have the ability to dive and smash through windows and move around heavy turrets from their fixed position. Back in April we reported that both the latest Call of Duty and Battlefield games may feature a battle royale mode. Fans can also expect the same kind of destructible buildings that they know and love which means you aren't necessarily safe hiding out in a house.

Battlefield V is due out October 19 for PC and consoles, and EA has already promised to drop the Premium Pass and map packs for this entry in the long-running series.
