Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson reportedly engaged after just weeks of dating

While many fans tweeted their congratulations, comedian Kathy Griffin was a little more cautious in her response... Hold onto your cakes, because approximately one month later, Us Weekly and TMZ now report that the happy couple are engaged, and apparently began sharing the news with friends over the weekend.

The pint-sized pop star and the SNL host started dating shortly after Grande's split from rapper Mac Miller in May and Davidson's split from longtime girlfriend Cazzie David in mid-May.

A source close to the couple told PEOPLE magazine today: "It's a recent engagement". Since then, they have been posting videos and pictures together, and leaving adorable comments on each other's posts.

The pair have engaged in quite the whirlwind romance since splitting from their previous partners - but don't call it a rebound!

One video of Davidson cheering, she jokingly captioned, "When I'm on top", but quickly deleted that replacing it with, "Full mood".

"For both of them, this relationship is heaven compared to their past relationships and they're just clinging to that heaven and thrilled about it".

"Pete introduced Ariana to his mother at Zuma in NY during one of theSNL after-parties", the source told ET. He joined the long-running sketch show in 2014.

"They are a ideal fit".

Recently, both Davidson and Grande went public with their relationship status.

Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson are moving fast!
