HP Envy and Elite PCs: Smallest convertible to widest curved all-in-one

Coming towards the new Envy range, there are the HP Envy 13 and Envy 17 notebooks that have an all-metal design available in pale gold and natural silver colour options.

HP's latest batch of premium Elite and Envy devices offer little in terms of surprises, but a lot when it comes to choice.

HP EliteOne 1000 AiO G2 is the world's first business class 34-inch curved AiO with discrete graphics, and a attractive and flexible design that makes it the ideal fit for the front desk, office or huddle room for meetings.

HP's professional audience will want to take a close look at the company's Elite lineup, beginning with the new EliteBook 1050. It is 15.8mm thin with a super battery life of 18 hours. The X2 1013 will start retailing at $1499 (Rs 1,01,714). It also supports input via pen and optional 4K display with HP Sure View. Featuring 8th generation Intel Quad Core processors, optional NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics, up to 14 hours of battery life, and security features including a fingerprint reader and optional HP Sure View, this device is designed for the on-the-go multi-tasker. HP EliteBook is best for video conferencing as it is equipped with an FHD pop-up webcam, integrated collaboration keys, powerful audio and HP noise cancellation feature. The 17-inch model has an estimated runtime of 9 hours and 15 minutes with mixed usage, and the Envy 13 laptop can operate for up to 14 hours in the same situation. One of them is a curved 34-inch all-in-one, which HP pitches as the world's widest AIO. It will go on sale in the USA in June with a starting price of $1,449 (approximately Rs. 97,900).

Speaking of graphics, the new Envy x360 13 will be the first to have an AMD Ryzen 5 or 7 processor paired with Radeon Vega 8 or RX Vega 10 graphics, helping boost your productivity with this little two-in-one.

It is expected to be available in May at HP.com for a starting price of $749.99 (AMD version) and $869.99 (Intel version).


HP hasn't revealed whether the 34-inch curved display of its upcoming AiO will be treated to a resolution bump over its ancestor, which shaped up at 3,440 x 1,440 pixels in a 21: aspect. They also have sound tuned by Bang & Olufsen, service for Gigabit Wi-Fi rates and new HP Control Center software, which enables you to quickly enhance functionality, fan sound and system temperatures based upon what you need. The EliteBook x360 1030 supports up to 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor and HP's upgraded pen.

HP ENVY 13 Laptop is expected to be available in May at HP.com for a starting price of $999.99.

A blue strip light to the front signifies that Alexa is ready to help, and users can expect to interact with Alexa in the same way as with other devices, such as checking the weather or lining up favorite music. Through an intuitive audio dial, users can control the volume or skip songs on a playlist.

The thicker (0.91-inch) Envy 17 features an Intel Core i7-8550U CPU with a discrete Nvidia GeForce MX150 GPU, with 2GB of dedicated memory.

The HP ENVY AiO 27 will go on sale in May, priced from $1,399.99, while the HP EliteOne AiO G2 will arrive in June, priced from $1,279.
