Authorities say a patrol officer located 39-year-old Taheerah Ahmad in her vehicle in downtown Tulsa, and she was taken into custody without incident. As Ahmad stabbed the oldest girl, the 7-year-old helped the other daughter, a 9-year-old, escape to a relative's home.

It was unclear of where Ahmad may be headed, but authorities noted that she has lived in Tennessee and Texas in the past.

Police in Oklahoma are searching for a woman who they say bound and gagged her three daughters, stabbed the eldest repeatedly, and set their house on fire.

Investigators say the 7-year-old girl helped the 9-year-old girl escape.


Police in Tulsa, Oklahoma, found a mother who was accused of stabbing her 11-year-old daughter and leaving her in critical condition before setting her home on fire and kidnapping her 7-year-old daughter.

Authorities stated in addition they found the kitchen was on hearth.

The 11-year-old who was stabbed several times was reportedly still unconscious as of Tuesday morning.

Police say the 11-year-old girl is in "very severe condition" in a Tulsa hospital. Hafza is described as having puffy hair in a ponytail and wearing an ankle-length peach dress and painted gold bracelets on her wrist.

Ahmad has curly black hair with gold highlights.

Police aren't sure where Ahmad may be headed.
