Weather Forecast: Wet and cool to start the week

Sunday will bring a slight chance of showers in the morning. But there will be a lot of rain and enough instability that a few thunderstorms are also possible, especially during the afternoon. Warmer weather moves in for Wednesday with highs in the mid 70s.

First of all for Monday night we will have some cloud cover lingering with lows from the upper 10s to lower 20s.

Wednesday is looking handsome with a high of 75 and partly sunny skies!

The gusty northwest winds behind the front Wednesday may actually pose a bigger fire weather risk across portions of Northeast Oklahoma as RH values get fairly low.

High pressure builds in aloft starting Tuesday and lasting through most of the week to have temperatures warm into the upper 70s Tuesday and low 80s Wednesday before a weak cold front passes.

Happy Monday! After a bitterly cold weekend, temperatures will begin to warm this week with highs near 50 later today. A few areas could see wind gusts of 60 miles per hour. Wind will be from the southwest 20-25 miles per hour. Windy, with a southwest wind 20 to 30 miles per hour becoming northwest 10 to 20 miles per hour after midnight. Thursday some showers and a few flurries will impact us early before this tapers off and we have more clouds compared to sunshine. Thursday night will be mostly clear. Sunday high temperatures will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Saturday sunny and seasonable.
