Utah's Donovan Mitchell clear to play in Game 2 after stubbing toe

Despite suffering a foot injury in Utah's loss to OKC Sunday, his MRI would come back clean.

Mitchell exited the game during the second half with what was referred to as "left foot soreness", after he appeared to hurt something when he collided with Corey Brewer. It doesn't look like Mitchell will be hampered by the injury in any way on Wednesday, so expect him to be a full go. Mitchell was visibly confused on the bench and, with the help of some teammates, lobbied to re-enter the game.

Mitchell finished with 27 points and 10 rebounds in his playoff debut, a 116-108 Thunder win. He led the Jazz and all rookies with 20.5 points per game, becoming the first rookie since Carmelo Anthony to lead a playoff team in scoring.

"I feel fine. I just stubbed my toe, nothing major", he told reporters postgame. "I'm sure he'll undergo further imaging, and we'll update that tomorrow". Utah's scoring is already not a strong suit, and Mitchell is often the engine that keeps its offense afloat.
