Trailer: Jodie Foster Runs A Hospital For Criminals In Hotel Artemis

We expect to see plenty of comparisons to John Wick, but aside from the similar premise of the hotel/hospital for criminals, Hotel Artemis is clearly different in tone. When Brown's Waikiki steals a portable vault worth millions and brings it inside Hotel Artemis, Jeff Goldblum's crime boss character tracks him down - and shows that he couldn't care less about the hospital's strict regulations.

Hotel Artemis, also starring Sofia Boutella, Dave Bautista and Charlie Day, is set to hit United States theatres June 8. The trailer reveals a world in which a secret hospital exists to treat criminals who can't get stitched up at any regular hospital.

Jodie Foster is a wisecracking nurse with gallows humor in the violence-laden first trailer for the near-future action-thriller "Hotel Artemis", released on Monday.

Pearce, whose writing credits include "Iron Man 3" and "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation", directed from his own script in his feature debut.

Hotel Artemis is set in Los Angeles in 2028 and follows a nurse (Foster) who runs a members-only style, underground hospital for Los Angeles' most sinister criminals, and finds out that one of her patients is there to kill one of the other patients. Sterling K. Brown costars as Waikiki, a robber who shows up at Hotel Artemis injured alongside his crew one night, following what was otherwise a successful job. Let us know your thoughts down below!
