Priyanka Chopra's next still a mystery?

Chopra, who grew up in India, spoke to InStyle in honor of Equal Pay Day to discuss the gender wage gap, a cause that she's been vocal about in the past - especially as it relates to women of color.

Audiences will next see the actress in A Kid Like Jake, alongside Claire Danes, Octavia Spencer and Jim Parsons, a film centred around a young couple who realise their son's non-gender conforming play may be more than a phase. However, a year has passed and there's still no indication of her return to Hindi Cinema after making her mark in Hollywood.

April 12 (ANI): Bollywood actor and worldwide star Priyanka Chopra was in Delhi on Wednesday and met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in regards to an upcoming conference of Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (PMNCH). In America, we don't talk about it as brashly, whereas in India the issue is not skirted around.

Already a major star back home after her dazzling win at Miss World in 2000 lead to a modelling and movie career, she followed that by cracking the U.S. with high-profile roles in Baywatch and the smash hit TV show Quantico. "I've been told straight up if it's a female role in a movie with big, male actors attached, your worth is not really considered as much", she said.

"It happened past year", she told InStyle.

Surely she can have her pick of any roles? Do I need to get in shape?

"It happens in both countries, it's just that here, it's hidden behind other things. Like, 'I think, Pray, they meant that they wanted someone who's not brown.' It affected me", Chopra told the fashion magazine. Chopra said. "And then my agent broke it down for me". The desi girl is back with the third season of ABC hit television series "Quantico".
