Prince Charles calls for 'blue economy' to save Australia's Great Barrier Reef

Prince Charles calls for 'blue economy' to save Australia's Great Barrier Reef

Prince Charles just debunked an, er, unusual rumor about his bathroom preferences while traveling.

Two policemen were hospitalised after they were involved in a high speed crash while escorting Prince Charles and Camilla Parker to the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony at Gold Coast.

Charles, 69, and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, spoke with a Hit105 host on Wednesday while on a seven-day tour of Australia.

"Hello Charles", the reporter asked the royal in an audio recording posted online by the station.

Prince Charles has scotched a report that he demands his own private toilet seat accompany him on his travels.

At least Charles has his own portable toilet seat to make the trip bearable (allegedly).

In an extraordinary move after claims the Duchess of Cornwall was bored during the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony, palace officials swung into damage control to hose down a potential controversy.

"Oh, don't believe all that c--", he said.

Julian Payne, director of communications for Charles, later joked about the comments on Twitter.

Camilla played snooker with Australians Marty Jackson (left) and Cameron Crombie on April 5 in the athletes' village.

"The Prince and The Duchess's tour of Australia and Vanuatu begins: 30 engagements, 7 days, 1 Commonwealth Games, 0 personal loo seats", Payne tweeted on Tuesday.

And while he was there he was quizzed on claims made in a new biography that Charles carries his own toilet seat everywhere he goes.
