Mariah thanks fans after opening up on bipolar diagnoses

Mariah Carey is thanking fans for their "overwhelming" support after she recently revealed that she has been suffering from bipolar disorder for almost two decades.

Carey revealed she is now in therapy and taking medication for bipolar disorder II, which is characterized by swings from very "up", elated moods to "down" periods of hopelessness and depression.

She said she is taking medication that "is not making me feel too exhausted or sluggish" and is working on a new album due out later this year.

According to TMZ, Stolper said Carey, 48, was "constantly naked in front of her".

"I'm just in a really good place right now, where I'm comfortable discussing my struggles with bipolar II disorder". In response, Carey expressed her gratitude and appreciation in a post to her followers across her social media accounts on Saturday that read, "I've been hard at work, feeling inspired by each of your stories and uplifted by your overwhelming support". "Let's continue to encourage each other on our journeys".

"For a long time I thought I had a severe sleep disorder", she said. "It's not making me feel too exhausted or sluggish or anything like that". I sought and received treatment'. I guess my depressive episodes were characterised by having very low energy. She is said to filed legal documents detailing her plans to sue the star for alleged violations of the US Civil Rights act, the Fair Employment and Housing Act, and breach of contract. I was working and working and working.

Do you think Mariah's bipolar diagnosis explains her unusual behaviors? I was irritable and in constant fear of letting people down.
