Beyonce's wardrobe malfunction didn't stop her from performing at Coachella

In honour of her historic performance, fans dubbed the festival #BeyChella, while the New York Times labelled her as "bigger than Coachella" and the world was in agreement.

A year after postponing her headlining set in 2017 due to pregnancy, Beyoncé treated her return to the stage like a family reunion, homecoming pep rally and a Beyhive-unifying rebel yell before heading into battle.

She reunited with Destiny's Child and went on a dance break with Solange wearing a sparkly camouflage bodysuit paired with matching boots. Like her outfits, Beyonce's performance was vivid, with the singer crooning to Say My Name, and other hits.

She kept the family love flowing by inviting her former Destiny's Child members - "my sisters" - Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams onstage for a medley of their early aughts hits like "Lose My Breath". To make matters worse, her over-the-knee boots also started to sag and eventually dropped to her ankles.

Beyonce's performance took a military theme, beginning with her 2003 hit insane in Love played by the marching band. Beyonce performed some of the intricate dance moves with just one hand as she was stuck holding on to her skimpy costume.

Some fans pointed out how she was able to perform the entire extended version of "Get Me Bodied" without breaking a sweat. She even performed "Lift Every Voice and Sing", known as the national black anthem. One fan pointed out that Beyonce's "twins" could not be contained and that the designer should have added more cup space.
