Baltimore Ravens Interested in Signing Dez Bryant

Outside of the NFC East, a look at the rest of Dallas' schedule could point to potential landing spots for Bryant.

It took a few days, but Dez Bryant has finally received interest from another team that would love to bring him aboard.

The Ravens might be able to spare Bryant from a wandering quest for employment by acting quickly on their desires and convincing him Baltimore is a worthy stage for the second act of his National Football League career. Naturally, attention immediately turned toward where he will play next season. With that in mind, one of the teams that Bryant has become quite intrigued by is the Los Angeles Rams as he recently praised Jared Goff, Todd Gurley and recently acquired wide receiver Brandin Cooks, according to Mike Fisher of CBS 247 Sports.

The Ravens added Michael Crabtree and John Brown in free agency, but adding another wide receiver has to be on the radar. "Ravens fans, who still lament the fact that the team was unable to land Bryant in the 2010 draft, seem infatuated with the idea". This has given him the opportunity to filter through his options to find the best fit for him in the next chapter of his career.

The Ravens have more than $10 million in salary-cap space, so they should have the financial means to make a deal happen if they so desire. Seeing the Rams quickly become an attractive team for players to join with their increased odds to win the Super Bowl has been truly fantastic to witness, but when it comes to Dez Bryant, this is a move that seems unnecessary to even consider.

Not to mention, one of the main reasons why Dallas was willing to move on from Bryant was due to his numbers declining over the last couple of seasons, and all of that money being spent was going to complete to waste.
