Singer Aditya Narayan gets arrested for rash driving

Controversy's favourite child, Aditya Narayan is in trouble again. While not many details are known as of now, we are sure the singer will not be able to come out of this case unscathed.

Police officials said that Mr. Narayan, who is the son of playback singer Udit Narayan, drove his Mercedes Benz into autorickshaw near Indralok Building in Lokhandwala on Monday afternoon. We wonder what the father will have to say in this rash driving incident. Aditya too sustained minor injuries.

Based on the statement given by complainant Shivekar, the police have booked Aditya under Sections of IPC for rash driving (279), causing grievous hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others (338) as well as under the provision of Motor Vehicle Act for unsafe driving. One user commented: "U shud have been arrested long back when u threatened the airline staff".

Although Aditya took both of the injured men to the hospital, the charges were against him nonetheless. An absolute jerk. First misbehaved with an airlines staffer and now injures pedestrians. "Aditya took the injured auto driver and the woman travelling in the autorickshaw to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Andheri". The driver of the rickshaw is admitted in the ICU while the passenger has fractured her leg, reports DNA. Aditya's medical examination is being carried on and he is likely to be questioned by the authorities on 13 March.

However, since he was on charged with a bailable offence, he was released on a personal bond of Rs 10,000.
