Insane happened. It's real.
Little Caesars promised when March Madness started that if a number 16 seed beat a number one seed in the NCAA Tournament, then they'd give away free pizza for lunch.
But there is a silver lining - and it's that Little Caesars is giving away free lunch combos because of UMBC's history-making win.
Since that announcement, the news created Madness all across social media.
Little Caesars tweeted this out in the afternoon.
The lunch combo includes a four-slice deep dish pepperoni pizza and a 20-ounce drink.
Little Caesars on Thursday vowed to give away free lunch combos on April 2, "if insane happens".
Subject to complete terms and conditions of the promotion, which will be available at participating stores and at LittleCaesars.com. So please be sure to call ahead BEFORE you show up at the store to make sure they're going along with the promotion.
To qualify, you must place your order no later than 1:00 p.m.
The offer will only be available on April 2, from 11 a.m.to 1:30 p.m., and is limited to "one per family" and "while supplies last".
Tacos are not as pricey as full pizza combos, however, making Little Caesars' deal a bit more generous.
