Klopp responds to Salah-Messi comparisons

Salah scored four times in the 5-0 win over Watford at Anfield on Saturday, taking his tally to 27 Premier League goals in a prolific first season at Merseyside.

The prolific Egypt worldwide opened the scoring in the fourth minute against Watford to move level with Spain striker Torres, who enjoyed a prolific first campaign in 2007-08.

With an already extraordinary season at Liverpool, Mohamed Salah jumped to the top of an elite list of goal-scorers.

The 25-year-old has enjoying a stunning debut season for the Reds since his £37.8m switch from Roma last summer, scoring 33 goals in all competitions to date. And Silva, like most onlookers, was impressed by Salah. From minute one, Salah was able to exploit the gap between Jose Holebas and Britos as wing-back and centre-back, respectively, getting in behind at ease and creating chances for the hosts.

The Reds advanced to the final 8 of this season's Champions League after earning a 5-0 aggregate victory over Portuguese side FC Porto; with all five goals coming in the away-leg at Estádio do Dragão. He also became the first Liverpool player to score a hat-trick at Anfield since Suarez in October 2013.

BT Sport wrote on its official Twitter handle that, "Mohammed Salah apologised to Watford goalkeeper after sticking four past him".

However, Klopp admitted he can now only wait and hope his key men, including Salah, return safely from two weeks of worldwide duty ahead of a huge month for Liverpool.

Also, Salah has been crowned best left-foot in premier league history. I feel it has my style of football.

"I said since day one here that I'm happy here at Liverpool and I want to show my football here". He is a fantastic player who I was privileged to play with.

"Salah said: "[Klopp] changed something in me.

Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana was not included in the matchday squad but Klopp said he would be "100 per cent fit" to link up with England.

If that was good the goal which completed his hat-trick was even better and similarly Messi-esque.
