In terms of memory, the device is available in 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage, 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage options. The smartphone bears a dual rear camera setup, with two 13-megapixel sensors complete with autofocus, an f/2.2 aperture, and a dual colour temperature flash. Beyond that though, they also gave the budget market special considerations in the Lenovo K5 and K5 Lite offerings.

Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and Global Positioning System. There is a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel, which is touted by the company to unlock the device in 0.09 seconds. It measures 154×73.5×7.8mm and weighs around 155 grams.


The Lenovo K5 features a 5.72-inch HD+ display with 1600×900 pixels resolution and 2.5D glass on the top. The phone packs a 3000mAh battery which is not compatible with quick charging. The smartphone comes in three storage and RAM variants.

The Lenovo S5, with its all metal body and dual rear cameras looks remarkably like the Xiaomi Mi A1, which invariably means that it looks remarkably like the iPhone 7 Plus. Also, the phone boots Android 8.0 Oreo-based ZUI 3.7 ROM out of the box. The Lenovo K5 comes with a 3,000 mAh battery whereas the Lenovo K5 Lite is powered by a 3,030 mAh battery. While the K5 Lite sports a 2MP secondary sensor f/2.4 aperture. There are sensors like accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, proximity sensor, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. It supports connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and Global Positioning System. The Lenovo K5 Play is backed by a 3000mAh battery. The device will be up for sale in China at a starting price of 999 Yuan, and the company did not reveal its plans to launch the phone in India.
