Anthony Joshua: "There will definitely be blood" in Joseph Parker fight

Anthony Joshua:

Joshua and Parker are both nearing their final preparations for the mega-fight which is going to take place at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on 31st March, with fellow heavyweight Deontay Wilder expected to be ringside to watch the bout.

Joshua has revealed he doesn't like "weird character" Parker and his "backstabbing" promotional team.

Promoter Eddie Hearn added: "We expect him to be lighter".

It's fair to say that Joshua is eager to do his talking in the ring when he comes face to face with Parker.

"I think that Parker can definitely beat him just by boxing well and punching straight as Wilder is there to be hit".

According to the report, the UFC want to sign Joshua on a multi-fight deal which would earn the 28-year-old $500 million (£353 million) and as a result, make him the richest British boxer of all time. That is all we are saying, be realistic in negotiations.

"I'm learning. Fight week is as important as camp". I haven't seen Wilder throw that many body shots.

Eddie Hearn, AJ's promoter, is open to the possibility of a two-fight deal with the U.S. heavyweight to hold bouts in both the United Kingdom and the States. There's a lot of bluster with Deontay but he's not an idiot.

However, AJ's immediate concern is Parker, with the New Zealander holding an unbeaten record in his 24 fights. "Wilder relies on the right hand and his power, so I think Parker is a better all-rounder".

There has been much debate over what Joshua's weight will be for the showdown, and the star has confirmed he intends to tip the scales lighter than for previous fights at "112kg max", or 17st 8lbs.

- Sky Sports Box Office will exclusively show the Anthony Joshua v Joseph Parker unification fight on 31 March.

Joshua, who defeated Carlos Takam last October, stated he is a different animal compared to his last fight. "I won't be coming in that heavy, I really doubt it".
