The Sheriff's Office says the threat was unsubstantiated, but the school was on lockdown about 90 minutes as the investigation progressed. I'm sick of this sh*t.

A lockdown at San Leandro High School has been lifted after threatening graffiti was found on campus.

All students and staff at San Leandro High School are safe. "Better not come. F**ck this place".

San Leandro Unified School District Superintendent Mike McLaughlin says the school will be closed Thursday as a precaution, "unless we notify you otherwise".

Police searched the property with dogs, but did not locate any weapons. However this message was written with the intended violence to take place tomorrow.

That same user had earlier tweeted: "I am a student at San Leandro high school and I'm tweeting for the students and I can confirm we are all now safe and locked inside of our classrooms".

Atascadero Police quickly identified, contacted and arrested the student responsible for the social media threat, said Hoover, who added that no other students were involved in perpetuating the threat.
