AM Links: Trump, Tariffs, Stormy Daniels

President Trump's legal team won a temporary restraining order last week against ex-porn star Stormy Daniels, who is fighting in court to tell her story about their alleged affair.

"It's sort of been a double-edged sword where a lot of people are very interested in booking me for dancing and stuff like this", Clifford told CNN, taking away time from films and projects she's supposed to be promoting.

According to a source, Trump believes Sanders comments "were essentially putting the Stormy Daniels storyline on steroids". Now, she said, she not only acts but writes and directs films as well.

Trump's longtime lawyer Michael Cohen has said there was no affair and that he paid the porn actress $130,000 out of his own pocket just days before the 2016 election. The statement is an admission that the nondisclosure agreement exists, and that it directly involves the President.

The appearance comes after it was reported that Trump lawyer Michael Cohen used his professional Trump Organization email address to correspond with Daniels about her NDA.

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington lodged the civil and criminal complaint, arguing that the payment may have been a loan from Cohen to Trump and, if so, needed to be disclosed.

"We intend to pursue our recourse in the context of the arbitration as agreed to by the parties and continue to categorically refute the claims alleged by Ms. Clifford and her counsel", Rosen said.

He then claimed that it would have been impossible for Cohen to undertake the extensive work of a non-disclosure agreement without the consultation or authorization of Trump.

What bothers her, she said, is the "flat-out lies" that have been spread about her. "I'm actually one of the most successful adult movie directors in the business". She also has appeared in such mainstream box-office hits as "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" and "Knocked Up". "So that's been really great", she said.
