Xiaomi Mi TV 4 teased, could be launched alongside Redmi Note 5

This will be the first run through Xiaomi launches its TV portfolio in India.

E-commerce portal Flipkart has shared a teaser on Twitter which offers new details on the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, which is expected to launch on February 14. Rumours have been indicating at the company readying to launch the Redmi Note 5 for the Indian market, which is expected to be a repackaged Redmi 5 Plus.

Now, the Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with 5.9-inch Full HD+ display.

Sadly, both the features don't give away any clinching evidence to know whether the upcoming product is a Redmi 5 mobile or the Redmi Note 5 phablet series, as both the devices are said to have aforementioned display features. The upper and lower bezels are narrower as compared to its predecessor.


On the rear panel of the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, there's reportedly a vertical camera module which measures two sensors alongside an LED flash. If you go a little south, you can spot the circulars fingerprint scanner. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 could be fueled by a mid-range Snapdragon processor and highlight a 5.7-inch Full HD+ display with a 1080 x 2160p resolution. Xiaomi is also rumoured to launch a more powerful "PRO version" of the Redmi device at the event. The chipset will be clubbed with either 3GB/ 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of native storage space.

The cameras on the Note 5 are expected to be 12-megapixel snapper on the rear and a 5-megapixel on the front.

The Redmi Note 5 is also reported to come with a dual camera setup, featuring a 16-megapixel primary camera sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary camera sensor. It will be backed up by a 4,100mAh battery along with Quick Charge 4.0 support.
