The phones are expected to be launched during Mobile World Congress 2018 event.

A few weeks ago, a leak revealed that the whole "G" series in 2018 will move on to an 18:9 aspect ratio.

Talking about the processor units of the devices, the Moto G6 is likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450, while the Moto G6 Plus may ship with Snapdragon 630 and the Moto G6 Play may feature Snapdragon 430 chipset. Among them, the Moto G6 line will see a drastic change in design compared to the Moto G5-series as all the upcoming three smartphones will be sporting 18:9 displays. The device comes with a 12MP + 5MP dual camera setup on the rear and a 16MP front-facing shooter. Well, the rumored devices in the making are the Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, and Moto G6 Play. The Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 will have a 2160 x 1080 px resolution while the Moto G6 Play will have a 1440 x 20 px resolution.

The Lenovo-owned company is yet to announce the release date of its Moto E-series but reports have suggested that the budget smartphones might come in the second quarter of this year, most probably on April 3.

Interestingly, three Motorola handsets with model number XT1922-1, XT1944-1 and XT1924-1 have been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance and all the handsets have Android 8.0 operating system pre-installed. The Bluetooth SIG has certified all devices to have Bluetooth 4.2. As per reports, the Moto G6 Plus to launch in three variants having 2GB, 3GB, and 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage space. These could be the Moto E5 and Moto E5 Plus. However, nothing much has been leaked about the Moto E5 Play except that it will be a low-end smartphone.
