Didier Drogba's son joins Guingamp's youth team

Ligue 1 outfit Guingamp have announced the signing of promising teenage striker Isaac Drogba as he follows in the footsteps of his father Didier Drogba.

Isaac Drogba, plays as a striker, just like his father and has previously played for Chelsea's academy.

"Couldn't be more proud of you Isaac Drogba", the 39-year-old wrote on Instagram.

Chelsea legend Didier Drogba's son has signed for a professional club in France, where he could team up with a Bafana Bafana worldwide!

The ex-Chelsea marksman also played for Guingamp, before moving to Marseille and then Chelsea, where the Ivorian netted 164 times in 381 appearances.

Didier Drogba won four league and FA Cup titles, one UEFA Champions League trophy and several individual honours during his nine seasons at Chelsea.

"He's French, but he said he does not want to play for Ivory Coast or France, he wants to play for England".
