Dead Space is free to claim on Origin for a limited time

All you have to do is head over to the game's official Origin page and acquire your free copy.

Dead Space is a horror third-person shooter set in a sci-fi scenery following the struggle of the protagonist, Isaac Clarke inside the claustrophobic corridors of an interstellar mining ship, the USG Ishimura.

The game that kicked off the Origin On the House program back in 2014 is back for another round, with EA making Dead Space free, once again.

While you'd think such deals are included in a limited window, On The House free games normally last between 1 and 70 days, with the mean length of time being 42 days.

Remember the late 2000s, when EA bet big on a number of single-player titles featuring unique gameplay hooks and inventive settings?

Currently, a download key for Dead Space will run you £6.79 through Amazon, and it is $19.99 or your regional equivalent for the digital download through Steam.

Dead Space can be claimed for free right now via Origin, and the only requirement is having an account on the platform.

Dead Space is developed by Visceral Games (Previously known as EA Redwood Shores) and was released on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in October 2008.

Go give it a try, pay Visceral Games the respect they deserve after being disbanded.
