Could Luis Enrique be Chelsea's next coach?

Chelsea now sit fourth in the premier league table, and risk falling out of the top four with one point above 5th placed Tottenham and one below 3rd place Liverpool.

Needless to say, Conte's Chelsea future has been subject to scrutiny.

But Chelsea don't care, they will move on and they know they can bring another manager in who will be just as successful. Of course, Mourinho ended up getting sacked less than a year after winning the Premier League, and a couple of reasons that earned him the sack are looking to do the same, with Antonio Conte. The former Barcelona boss is free having taken a sabbatical (lucky man...) and with a CV that includes a Champions League win and two league and cup doubles, he has just the sort of pedigree the Blues board salivate over.

Given that he seemed destined to leave at the end of the season anyway, it perhaps wouldn't come as a shock if Roman Abramovich expedited the decision by a few months - Chelsea managers have certainly been sacked for less than dismal back-to-back defeats against mid-table fare.

Others who have also been linked with the Chelsea job, according to various reports, are Frank Lampard, Zinedine Zidane, Brendan Rodgers, Maurizio Sarri, Diego Simeone and Massimiliano Allegri.

While Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri has been suggested as a potential replacement, so has former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique.

Chelsea have suffered consecutive three-goal top-flight defeats for the first time since October 1995, but Conte is being backed to turn their results around.

Despite winning the PL (Premier League) title previous year, Conte is under the significant pressure due to the poor performance of his team, most recent their defeat came against Watford has left Conte on the verge. Conte is expected to take over as head-coach for the Italian national team or manager at Juventus, both jobs he has already held.

"We believe in him and we believe in our team", he said.

"I hope that tonight for once you understand me - I am not anxious about my job".

"As a player, what I want is to get back on the training field as soon as possible, work hard for Monday's game, get the three points and get some confidence back". Sometimes, when I had the possibility, I tried to give a window of little work for the players that I made a decision to rest.

"I don't think the dressing room is strong enough, with enough characters in there".
