Seal accuses Oprah Winfrey of knowing about Harvey Weinstein assaults

Seal's denouncement of Oprah comes as actress Kadian Noble alleges Weinstein used Winfrey to help lure her to his hotel room in France, where he allegedly assaulted her. Weinstein has denied these claims.

One of the photos posted on Wednesday showed Winfrey giving Weinstein a kiss on the cheek with the words, "When you have been part of the problem for decades", and another photo of Winfrey, Weisntein and Rita Orr bore the inscription "But suddenly they all think you are the solution". "My bad", Seal wrote. Her speech was linked to a campaign speech which in turn stirred rumors that the former talk show queen's eying a potential presidential run in 2020. The outspoken star came to Oprah's defense after musician Seal posted a defamatory meme on his Instagram account.

But Kiss From a Rose singer Seal isn't buying the idea that Winfey was completely unaware of the disgraced movie boss' alleged sexual misconduct - as detailed in New York Times and New Yorker exposes past year.

The 63-year-old actress and media mogul addressed sexual harassment or assault in Hollywood, she assured the you girls that a "new day is on the horizon" when there will be no victims of sexual misconduct and she pointed to Time's Up movement in Hollywood.

Branding Oprah "sanctimonious", Seal was scathing in his attack, implying she stood by and said and did nothing during Weinstein's reign of terror and intimidation over the past several decades.

Oprah has come under fire yet again after her Golden Globes speech.

On Jan. 9, Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane spoke out against Winfrey, warning that celebrity power does not qualify a candidate for the presidency. "But the idea of a reality show star running against a talk show host is troublingly dystopian. Let's just say we've all heard things about each other, haven't we?" she commented on Seal's controversial Instagram from January 10.

Oprah is beyond doubt a magnificent orator. It was a remarkable speech; it's no wonder that people (except for Seal, we guess) think that she would be equally remarkable in the White House.
