Samsung Galaxy S9 box snapped revealing a seriously upgraded camera

Samsung is not known for fast software updates and recently launched the Samsung Galaxy A8+ in India with Android 7.1 Nougat running out of the box.

The Galaxy S9 was rumoured to come with 1000fps slow-mo like the Xperia flagships and it's interesting to note that the new Exynos 9810 chip is capable of 4K resolution slow-mos at 120fps.

According to Samsung, their fans should be looking forward to the next global trade show for their Samsung Galaxy S9 announcement.

If this box is to be trusted, it shows that the Galaxy S9 will be more of an evolution than a revolution. That might be about to change, though, with a photo of an alleged retail box for the Galaxy S9 having been posted on reddit. These include stereo speakers and a variable aperture rear camera. We can see from the branding it'll also have Samsung Knox secure storage onboard.

There is actually also some debate as to the shape of the Galaxy X. There seems to be a consensus that Samsung has a 7.3-inch in-folding panel for this goal. Which means, ideally both of them should come with Samsung's hallmark bezel-less Infinity display and an unusual aspect ratio of 18:9. On the front, the Galaxy S9 is reported to feature an 8MP selfie camera with Autofocus.

Other specs and features that were nearly certain anyway include an iris scanner, 4GB RAM, 64GB of storage, IP68 water and dust resistance and wireless charging support. And then, we've got the sweet stuff: The camera is listed as a 12 MP shooter with an aperture of F1.5 / F2.4. Those who got the second phase and first phase in other countries will also receive the next version soon.

"Samsung attracted more clients to the private meeting compared to a year ago".

Owners could also be treated to speakers and headphones tuned by AKG and 64GB of internal memory.
