NBA All-Star Voting Results 2018: Starters, Rosters & Captains

The NBA altered its All-Star Game format this season so that two captains will have the opportunity to draft their respective rosters after the other 22 All-Stars are selected.

George finished fifth in the fan voting among Western Conference frontcourt players.

It must be noted that the rules are slightly different this year, there is no longer an East vs.

When it came to the players' favorite, Antetokounmpo was voted ahead of LeBron James.

After a possession gone haywire, LeBron made it all better with an insane behind the back pass through Aaron Gordon's legs that led to a Dwyane Wade layup.

The starters will be chosen by a combination of 50 percent fan vote, 25 percent media vote and 25 percent player vote. James, the leading vote getting among fans, will pick first and Curry will pick second. From the West we'll see Curry, teammate Kevin Durant, Rockets guard James Harden, and Pelicans teammates Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins. However, it is clear they acknowledge his status as one of the NBA's elite players more than his fellow peers and media do.

Stephen Curry (L) and LeBron James (R) of the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers will get to pick which players they want on their squads.

These 10 starters will be joined by 14 reserves, who are still chosen by National Basketball Association coaches and who will be announced on Tuesday, Jan. 23, during the pre-game show of that evening's TNT broadcast.

The All-Star teams will still feature 12 players from each conference, but the captains will select the team rosters without regard for conference affiliation. James and the second captain will then draft their teams which will be announced on Thursday, January 25 at 7 p.m. Eastern.

Houston will be without Trevor Ariza and Gerald Green, who were each suspended two games for their postgame locker room altercation with the Los Angeles Clippers.
