CBSE 10th, 12th students anxious as exam dates not yet announced

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board examinations are going to be held in March.

Students have been anxious about the date sheet, as the date sheet was expected to come in the first week of January, but no need to worry for holi instead. Board exam date sheet will be given to the students by individual schools as well. Students are naturally anxious to know the exact schedules for the exam, so they can prepare accordingly. Here is the complete schedule for class 10 exams.

CBSE affiliates all Kendriya Vidyalayas, all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, private schools and most of the schools approved by central government of India.

The announcement of the "Datesheet for Board Examination 2018" has been delayed due to elections in Meghalaya, Tripura, Nagaland and Karnataka, according to media reports. Although many seem to be having access to the timetable, it is only fake news as there is no official confirmation from the board as yet. The students are advised to not believe any rumours and keep checking the official website of CBSE - cbse.nic.in - for the class 10 and 12 board exam 2018 date sheets.

The delay in declaration of time table has left many parents and students anxious.

Also, last year, there had been a very small gap between the Class 12 exams and the JEE Main.

In September a year ago, the CBSE had confirmed about the exam being held in March 2018. Candidates can go through the marking scheme and sample papers released by the Board.

This had led to an outcry, and the Delhi High Court had asked the board to continue with the policy for one more year, saying "A person taking the examination needs to be put on notice (about the decision to scrap the policy)".
