'X-Men' director Bryan Singer accused of raping teenage boy

Singer had been fired from a film this week after being absent from production, spurring some rumors that he was the next to be hit by sexual harassment claims.

Just days after Bryan Singer was sacked from Bohemian Rhapsody, the director is now facing a lawsuit for allegedly sexually assaulting a 17-year boy in Washington State back in 2003. Sanchez-Guzman claims Singer claims raped him in 2003, when he was 17.

TMZ has obtained a copy of the suit, and it alleges that Cesar Sanchez-Guzman attended a party, which was attended by "many young gay males", on a yacht owned by tech investor Lester Waters. When they got to one of the rooms, the suit alleges Singer thrust his body on Guzman, forced him to the floor, shoved Guzman's face against his crotch and demanded he perform oral sex.

Singer also attempted to bribe Sanchez-Guzman into silence.

Singer is likely best known as the director of multiple films in Fox's X-Men franchise, starting with the 2000 original and as recently as 2016's X-Men: Apocalypse. Although the alleged victim pleaded with him to stop, Singer allegedly wouldn't and caused him to choke. He says Singer then forcibly anally penetrated him, all while ignoring Guzman's pleas.

You may recall another man, Michael Egan, making similar claims against Singer and other industry power players in 2014.

Singer has faced accusations of misconduct in the past, including one from a 14-year-old actor on the set of the movie Apt Pupil, who said in 1997 that the director forced several minors to strip naked for a scene, but that case was thrown out.

Director Bryan Singer has been fired from 'Bohemian Rhapsody, ' USA TODAY has confirmed. The allegations did not hold up in court, and the charges were ultimately dismissed.

Guzman says he suffered emotional distress, mental anguish, and physical and mental pain.

In 2015, Egan was sentenced to two years in federal prison in an unrelated fraud case.
