Anushka and Virat, both 29, set tongues wagging about their wedding when they were seen leaving the Mumbai and Delhi airport respectively with their family members last week. A similar tweet posted on Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's individual (official) account reads, "Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever".

Their's was touted to be the most-awaited wedding of 2017. Though, there were conflicting reports on Monday that suggested that the wedding is scheduled for later this week and that Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh would attend. They confirmed a romance later, saying that they were "two young people in a relationship.' Anushka and Virat were rumoured to have broken-up past year after the cricketer posted a photo of himself captioned 'Heartbroken.' They later reconciled and were pictured at parties and events together".


A wedding reception has reportedly been planned in Mumbai later this month.

In the Breakfast With Champions interview by Gaurav Kapur, Virat Kohli has earlier revealed that Zaheer was the one to advise him to not hide his relationship with Anushka Sharma, which he made public with the cosy Valentine's day pictures this year. Speculations arose before the ODI series that the duo were going to get married in Italy.

Conjectures about the wedding had been doing the rounds ever since the two started seeing each other.
