Dribbles and SCORES! Cristianinho emulates his dad Cristiano Ronaldo

Ronaldo, 32, helped Madrid to a La Liga and Champions League double previous year and is favourite to win a fifth Ballon d'Or when France Football unveils the 2017 victor on Thursday.

Should the Portuguese claim the award, he will go level on five crowns with his Argentinean rival.

Earlier in October, FIFA held a glitzy Hollywood-style award ceremony where Ronaldo was handed "The Best FIFA Men's award" and while the victor will reportedly stay the same, France Football plan to outshine their counterparts with their display.

'There has always been a great friendship between us. He's going to score a lot of goals this season.

With 14 games played in La Liga, Los Blancos are sitting in fourth, with four draws and two losses.

"One makes the other better and vice-versa".

He continued: "VAR? I'm in favour of technology provided that the essence of football is not lost".

But, according to a report in Spain, the 32-year-old has already been told he has won and will pick up the award from former France and Newcastle winger David Ginola in a ceremony that will be "full of glamour", according to the organisers France Football.

"I think it [Ronaldo not being at his best] doesn't really matter because he is so big", Zidane said.

"It's normal that people have opinions and talk about him, but people who love Real Madrid, this team, they know what he has done". Just last season he had a phenomenal campaign. We hope to come back from (the Club World Cup) with a title because it would be good for the group in terms of motivation.
