Devil May Cry HD Collection release date set for PS4

Devil May Cry HD Collection release date set for PS4

Grab your sickest red coat and Devil Arms and get ready to hunt demons in style in Devil May Cry HD Collection, coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One both digitally and at retail on March 13, 2018! The compendium will contain Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening Special Edition.

The game is priced at $29.99 in the States, so expect something around the £25-£30 mark over in Blighty. Thankfully, Capcom plans to make the wait a little easier by announcing the decision to bring Devil May Cry HD Collection to current generation platforms.

Capcom released a similarly titled collection featuring the same three games in 2012 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Players will take on the role of Dante as they slash, juggle, and shoot their way through Devil May Cry (2001), Devil May Cry 2 (2003), and Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition (2006). There was no PC release of this collection so this marks the first time all of the classic Devil May Cry games will be playable on PC. At the moment, we do not know if there will be any extra adjustments for the return of this collection, such as improvements in the camera system and in the aspect of the cinematics.

Those who own a PS4, Xbox One or PC can already play the remastered versions of Devil May Cry 4 and DmC, the 2013 reboot developed by Ninja Theory.
