Camila Cabello announces new solo album release date

Camila Cabello's debut album is finally finished, and is coming out next month. While she was on stage at a show in Portland, OR, she told the crowd that the Frank Dukes-produced track is about "finding someone you really love and being forever changed by that person".

Along with the album title, cover art and background story on why she's made some changes to the album, Cabello also revealed that the pre-order for the January 12 album is this Thursday and that fans who buy it during the pre-sale phase will get a couple surprises. She just released two new songs, "Never Be the Same" and "Real Friends", and "Real Friends" is all about Camila, well looking for some good friends she can trust and open up to, something she might've lost during those final days with her former bandmates since it's clear she's not really friendly with Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui and Normani Kordei anymore. "Now I'm trying to steady my heartbeat", she wrote in the caption.

Another Camila would love to team up with is The 1975.

Following it up was "Havana", the lead single for Cabello's debut solo album, later to be announced as "Camila".

HollywoodLifers, what do you think of "Real Friends" and "Never Be The Same?". She's collaborated with some big names in the rap game but overall, she's dropping quality pop music in her comfort zone.

Even more recently, Cabello listeners have been clamoring for album information as the starlet teased at the Billboard Women in Music event last week that the album pre-order would be up "super soon".

Camila Cabello has just dropped two fire-y new singles, and on 'Real Friends, ' she declares that all the girls of Fifth Harmony ever did was 'let her down.' Listen to the two tracks!

The songs are also available to stream on Spotify and both can be downloaded on iTunes now.
