Chennai's Sathyabama University Students Asked To Leave Hostel After Night Of Violence

The first year engineering student hailing from Hyderabad allegedly committed suicide in her college hostel soon after she was sent from the exam hall.

Following this, the students of Sathyabama University has reportedly claimed that Radha Mounika was a brilliant student and she could not commit any malpractice.

Following the incident, enraged fellow students set college property ablaze and armed cops were called in to tackle the situation.

Violent protests broke out at a University in Southern India after a student allegedly committed suicide after she was caught cheating in an exam, officials said Thursday. First-year students and Raga Monica's batchmates had initiated the protests which then quickly spiralled into violence and arson. "In her message which she typed in Telugu, she apologized for her mistake of copying and asked for forgiveness", said the official.
