Last Night's South Park Was A Prequel To Fractured But Whole

Ahead of South Park: The Fractured But Whole's release, Ubisoft has detailed what is included its season pass. Purchasing into the pass will grant players access to three lots of major DLC, as well as smaller content available on release.

The first DLC to come from the Season Pass is the "Relics of Zaron" which is a costume and perks pack.

December will mark the release of "Danger Deck" which takes place in Doctor Timothy's Danger Deck. They will be able to unlock exclusive costumes and artifacts. Available for standalone purchase in December for $6. Following that, in the DLC titled From Dusk till Casa Bonita, players will face a demon with help from The Coon and Mysterion in the titular birthday locale. This content will be available in 2018. This is set to be the second story episode and will introduce a brand new superhero class for the player. It will be available in 2018. The Season Pass is also part of the Gold Edition, already available for pre-order.

Of course, all the aforementioned DLC can be purchased separately for those who don't want to spend $29.99 on the season pass. Prices for each DLC range from $1.99 to $11.99 - with the total purchased separately going as high as around $37. This promotion is similar to the Game of Thrones Black Friday episode that preceded the release of South Park: The Stick of Truth. Also included in the Day One content is "Towelie: Your Gaming Bud", an in-game friend that will provide tips to the player.

The objective of the entire episode is to essentially set up the plot of South Park: The Fractured But Whole, the sequel to The Stick of Truth which sees the town's kids move away from their Lord of the Rings obsession and instead take on The Avengers.
