Charlie Heaton 'Stranger Things' Star Busted with Coke Denied Entry to US

The British actor - who plays Jonathan Byers on the Netflix show - was due to attend the show's season two premiere in Los Angeles.

He was then denied entry to the U.S. - forcing him to miss the premiere of Stranger Things' second season - and was reportedly put on a plane back to London. Daily Mail also reports that his barring from entering the United States could mean his future on the show could be in trouble. He was held at the airport for a while and then put back on a plane to London that night.

A spokesperson for the actor said: "I have no comment to make".

"If you are a foreign national and it is a large amount of drugs you may be charged".

Law enforcement sources tell us. the "Stranger Things" star flew into LAX last Saturday from London, but was denied entry because a random baggage check uncovered trace amounts of cocaine in his bag.

Heaton plays Jonathan Byers, the older brother of Will Byers, who disappears from the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, setting off a search as residents encounter supernatural events.

The new series, which debuts today, takes place a year after the first, leading to some major character developments.
