In their new line of attack, Airtel has launched plans starting from Rs 5, upto Rs 399; and the nature of these new, innovative plans is such that they accurately match Jio's available plans. According to the Internet Trends 2017 report, Indian consumers spend 28 hours per week on their smartphones, in which 45 percent of the time is dedicated to entertainment, 34 percent of web browsing, social media and instant messaging and 4 percent on shopping online.

Under Jio's Rs 399 plan, unlimited local and STD calls are being offered with 1 GB data per day for 84 days. However, now users had to comply with FUP (Fair Usage Policy) of 1GB data per day.

With Dhan Dhana Dhan offer coming to an end, Reliance Jio has revamped its tariff plan for both pre-paid and post-paid users. Now Airtel has launched the revised new plan. Jio has introduced One India simplified tariff plans with truly free voice and the lowest data rates in the world. This plan is valid for seven days. Jio 349 pack comes with 20GB data for 56 days. In the initial days, Jio struggled a bit with its services - data speed fluctuated a bit, but soon after it got into the track giving sleepless nights to other telecom giants. The Rs 87 plan is a bonus card.

This plan is similar to the earlier offered plan at this price but comes doubles validity.

Data traffic jumped 400% after Jio blew the competition open with free 4G data on its network.
