Daniel Cormier 'Very Upset' About Jon Jones' Failed Drug Test

As a result, Cormier has been reinstated as the UFC light heavyweight champion. Shortly after, it was revealed that Jones failed his drug test for turinabol.

The now former champion is facing a suspension which could be as long as four years, if he's unable to launch a successful appeal.

After knocking out Cormier in the third round of UFC 214's headliner, Jones seemed to turn over a new leaf with his longtime rival. "I have never felt so much love", Cormier wrote on his Instagram account on Friday.

A few months later, after it was determined that Jones tested positive as a result of a tainted male enhancement pill he'd received from a teammate, the light heavyweight superstar was still handed the maximum one-year suspension because the arbitrator in his case said his actions "verged on reckless".

"It's insane because this all happened when I lost".

Jon Jones is denying that he intentionally took steroids. Let him and his team figure out what's going on and what happened. "Let's respect that. You don't show ur support for me by hurting others".

Reeling from his sudden reversal of fortune, Cormier said Jones' UFC 214 positive was "very emotional" and said he didn't know what to think anymore about Jones. At 30 years of age, it would be the most hard challenge of his career for Jones to attempt to return to the Octagon after four years on the sideline.

"Supplement companies are notorious for it if you go back and start reading some papers on them, and it's not right".
