A Look At The First DLC For 'Destiny 2'

A Look At The First DLC For 'Destiny 2'

Destiny 2 isn't even a week old yet, but we're already getting our first look at its first expansion. This expansion is also part of the Season Pass for the game.

Curse of Osiris will introduce a new playable planet, Mercury, with a zone called the Infinite Forest.

The most tantalizing morsel in there is the name "Infinite Forest", which likely refers to the new in-game destination. It will bring additional content like new weapons, new armors, new single and co-op mission and maybe more.

One piece of information from the Kotaku story that isn't included in the listing is the release window for Curse of Osiris: It's reportedly scheduled to launch in December.

Be sure to check out our complete Destiny 2 guide and review-in-progress for all the latest Destiny 2 information.

"Journey through time and space to learn the secrets of Osiris, avert a dark future, and rebuild the ties between the legendary Warlock and his greatest student-Ikora Rey", the listing says.

According to the website listing, Destiny 2 Expansion I will be called "Curse of Osiris" and it has your Guardian continuing their journey with new story missions and adventures set on Mercury. Share your opinion with us in the comment section below. Bungie has confirmed it is real, with marketing director Eric Osborne writing on Twitter, "Curse of Osiris is not a leak". Curse of Osiris appears to alleviate that by adding a new world, a new story, and a whole lot of other new stuff. Though that's unlikely to be the focus of Curse of Osiris, it's perhaps entwined in the story.
